Over the years I have successfully built a number of bespoke camera systems to film various wildlife sequences, behaviour or specific shots. Including a number of infra-red systems to film otters at night both topside and underwater. A rig to film giant otters under water. Multiple stills cameratrap designs including an underwater laser trigger system for National Geographic Magazine. Most recently I was asked by ‘BBC mini landmarks’ to design an underwater deep sea camera module that would works to a depth of 1,600 meters. This was specifically to capture sperm whale feeding behavior as they interacted with Alaskan longline fisherman
