I am a wildlife and documentary cameraman working in natural history programming.
My experience includes blue chip landmark filming as well as sync / actuality across some of the toughest environments in the world. My technical specialities are long lens animal behaviour, Cineflex and drone and I have most recently been working on the biggest landmark series for BBC, Netflix and Disney Nature.
Our Planet | On Netflix Now
‘Our Planet will premiere across all Netflix territories in 2019 in collaboration with Silverback Films and WWF. Our Planet, an astonishing new eight part natural history series made by the creators of the critically and popularly acclaimed series Planet Earth.’
An incredible three years filming, with major sequences across five of the episodes. Look out for Blue whales and blue fin tuna in the High Seas, humpbacks and herring spawning in Coastal Seas, Walrus in the arctic and penguins, humpbacks and orca in the antarctic for Frozen Worlds and the opening sequences of Socotra cormorants in Grasslands and lowland gorillas in the Jungles episode. All are available to watch on the Netflix website. Also a fun making-of for the High Seas ep and lots of footage in the opening episode.
Big Cats: Snow Leopard
Documentary series uncovering the secret lives of big cats, using the latest technology and scientific research to bring these animal superstars out of the shadows. Below is a sequence I filmed for Big Cats , capturing these incredible animals high up in the Indian Himalayas, looking for a mate at the top of the world. I was also in the ten minute Making-Of at the end.
